West African Charity Support Foundation (WACSF) is a technical body that specialises in implementation placed under the aegis of the Commissioner responsible for Industrialization, Agriculture, SME, the Environment and Water Resources. West African Charity Support Foundation (WACSF) work towards improving living conditions in West African countries and considers the Millennium Development Goals as the overarching framework for collective action. West African Charity Support Foundation (WACSF) believes that a competitive and environmentally sustainable industry plays a crucial role in accelerating economic growth, thereby reducing poverty and helping to achieve the MDGs. West African Charity Support Foundation (WACSF) focuses on three thematic areas:
Implementing the investment programmes requires the creation of sufficiently well-equipped and accountable governance institutions in an institutional landscape marked by the duplication of bodies and activities. With this in mind, the Agency is the technical institution through which MOF TOGO can fully assume its sovereign role in accompanying the regional actors and institutions in the field of cooperation in implementing the investment plans. As such, the Agency is directly responsible for executing the actions in the field, negotiating contracts with the technical institutions and all other actors demonstrating recognised competencies.
